MTV SWAG - Jonas Brothers' 'Live' in London Contest Winner - Lyana Lee

Here's the story :

MTV Asia ran a contest to fly a lucky winner to London to catch the Jonas Brothers ‘Live’ in concert, with airfare and accommodation fully paid for.

It all started with a phone call on Thursday morning. I thought I was dreaming when I heard the words "You've won a trip to catch the Jonas Brothers LIVE in London!" I could barely believe it until my mom had to repeat those words a million times till my mind let the news sink in.

We were greeted by the wonderful summer breeze as soon as we landed at Heathrow Airport. It was a great escape from the Singapore heat. Not gonna lie. We ended our first day sight seeing by sitting on the steps outside of The Wembley Arena while watching the sunset at 10pm, in anticipation of The Jonas Brothers' concert the next day.

We woke up the next day with our hearts entangled in knots, too excited and nervous with the thought of watching The Jonas' concert later in the day. Evening came and it was soon time to head into the Arena for the Soundcheck party, but we were stuck under the rain as the line was too long. However it was worth it when we saw the brothers up close on stage performing their hit song "Paranoid". It was so surreal how close they were to us, and I must confess, Joe Jonas is absolutely gorgeous in real life. Despite being (insanely) famous, they were really down to earth as they interacted with the few of us that were at the soundcheck.

We were disappointed when the soundcheck ended but we could hardly wait for the show to start. After another half an hour, the real show started and the crowd went wild. The girls there were ten times louder and crazier than the ones back home. They sounded amazing live, better than I expected. The stage was grand and the lighting was spectacular. Halfway through the show, MCFLY made a surprise appearance and they performed "Star Girl" together. Little did we know, we were also filmed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! It was all so exciting!

The show ended too soon and we can't wait to see those boys again. We still hope to meet them one day, which would be the ultimate dream. Thank you so much MTV for this epic experience! Not only did we get to watch our favorite brothers but we also got to explore London!

Oh well, although me and my Jonas Buddy really really really wanna win this contest more than anything else in the world (duh, we screamed so loud the second we know this contest existed), but I guess luck isn't on our side that time, still, congratulations Lyana Lee !
