The Jonases : Near Death Experience

Okay, I was watching some of the Jonas performances wayy back when they were young and I came upon a video title that says " Jonas Brothers Big Accident ", curious, I opened it, reading reading reading the article in the video, GASP ! It turned out that 2 years ago in 2007, they almost DIED .

Story :

The Jonas family were heading back to New Jersey after a vacation at South Carolina. It was 8 AM.

In the car, Nick and Frankie were sleeping soundly while Joe was half-sleeping. Coincidently, Joe put his glasses on and saw this truck coming towards them from behind- vrooooooooooooom. BANG ! They got hit by an 18 wheeler truck. The driver fell asleep at the wheel. Just a mere second before the impact, Joe grabbed sleeping Nick to safety and covered him under his arm, and glass shattered and went all over the car. The glass got on their parents, Kevin, Frankie & Joe but because Joe grabbed Nick, nothing fell on Nick.

" It all went in slow motion. It was really crazy. The glass was shattered, we were completely exposed and the guy who hit us walks up out of the truck and goes "Is everybody all right?"We were like "Are you kidding me?! You just hit us with a Mack truck!!" It was really crazy, but miraculously, we were all okay."

OMFG . I had trouble breathing and I let out a few tears after reading this . I feel like this happened yesterday. They could've DIED ?! The thought of the boys not AROUND anymore is just unbearable. And Joseph, if he hadn't grabbed Nick to safety, Nick could've been seriously injured or worst, DEATH itself. He covered Nick under his arm while he was exposed to the 18 wheeler truck ! More reasons to love Joe. Seriously, isn't he the greatest brother, or what ? <3

MTV SWAG - Jonas Brothers' 'Live' in London Contest Winner - Lyana Lee

Here's the story :

MTV Asia ran a contest to fly a lucky winner to London to catch the Jonas Brothers ‘Live’ in concert, with airfare and accommodation fully paid for.

It all started with a phone call on Thursday morning. I thought I was dreaming when I heard the words "You've won a trip to catch the Jonas Brothers LIVE in London!" I could barely believe it until my mom had to repeat those words a million times till my mind let the news sink in.

We were greeted by the wonderful summer breeze as soon as we landed at Heathrow Airport. It was a great escape from the Singapore heat. Not gonna lie. We ended our first day sight seeing by sitting on the steps outside of The Wembley Arena while watching the sunset at 10pm, in anticipation of The Jonas Brothers' concert the next day.

We woke up the next day with our hearts entangled in knots, too excited and nervous with the thought of watching The Jonas' concert later in the day. Evening came and it was soon time to head into the Arena for the Soundcheck party, but we were stuck under the rain as the line was too long. However it was worth it when we saw the brothers up close on stage performing their hit song "Paranoid". It was so surreal how close they were to us, and I must confess, Joe Jonas is absolutely gorgeous in real life. Despite being (insanely) famous, they were really down to earth as they interacted with the few of us that were at the soundcheck.

We were disappointed when the soundcheck ended but we could hardly wait for the show to start. After another half an hour, the real show started and the crowd went wild. The girls there were ten times louder and crazier than the ones back home. They sounded amazing live, better than I expected. The stage was grand and the lighting was spectacular. Halfway through the show, MCFLY made a surprise appearance and they performed "Star Girl" together. Little did we know, we were also filmed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! It was all so exciting!

The show ended too soon and we can't wait to see those boys again. We still hope to meet them one day, which would be the ultimate dream. Thank you so much MTV for this epic experience! Not only did we get to watch our favorite brothers but we also got to explore London!

It's Jai's big 1-4 today. Welcome to the old folk's home dude ! So, we did a little surprise planning here and there. Alya, Me & Shamimi arrived in front of Pizza Hut at about 6.30. Waiting, waiting, then Yeen came looking oh so *new* (she got new outfits :P) Suddenly, (thriller sounds playing) I screamed cause I totally totally superly forgot to bring something important. Yeah, I was freaking out BIG TIME, like " oh, Im gonna hang myself - nice knowing you guys - Im gonna head home now and commit suicide (yada yada, things like that) Then it was time to bring the blindfolded for 43 minutes by Shamira birthday girl ! Course, it gets a tadsy embarassing cause people were watching like eagles. When we opened the scarf.... SURPRISEEE !!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! yeah, then we ordered 1 large pizza, 3 regular pizzas, 10 mushroom soups and *I lost count how many glasses of pepsi

= RM 124.50 :D

Gosh, dinner with friends is way wayyy awesome ! We choked on pizzas due to laughing so hard .

- We talked about someone getting angry cause the poop is too small
- we talked about large size poop, bigger than my head
- we talked about "why is the poop green ? I want it brown ! brown !! "

- we talked about fart on fire (judge by *headmistress)

- They wanted to get on the moon bounce thing, although, it does looked interesting cause it's HUGE :D

Extremely funny . My sister, Fatin who is studying at UiTM Segamat, Johor called my mum . She said that she's in the hospital because she fell of her bed. Awesome day today ! first of all, the Merdeka celebration at school was quite enjoyable, wecoughwoncoughcoughsketsa. Judging by the crowd's reaction (more like screaming) I think we did very very well ! Masuk YouTube tau ! Then, we had an 'afterparty' at Lojing Heights pool. I had an amazing time ever ! Esok dah puasa, can't swim for a whole month so might as well do it now. We did all kinds of things in the pool, we played this everyone-line-up-and-people-dive-through-our-celah-kangkang GAME, I think I accidently kicked someone's hoo-haa, well, SORRY ! A few seconds 'drama' happened. I was a bit traumatised by oh-the-things-people-do-for-petty-little-things. ! even though, takde kene mengena, but F YOU B ! no worries mate, you are blessed with nice, caring, understanding AMIGOS ;)

Then, up up the lift to Dania's super awesome house. Ordered pizza (Gracias Jainibah !) watched a quarter of (movie I can't remember the title) played pink Twister, I forfeit, photos session, alya-amazing photographer. BALIK .


P/S : So, I haven't online my myspace acc for sooo long, it's all dusty now. Did some editing, renovations, spent half an hour adding people I KNOW .

Kak Lin & Abg Lan came just now. She's 4 months pregnant and is due late January 2010. But I do hope that the baby will be born early February so then, I can celebrate my birthday with my future nephew/niece ! Insya-Allah. They showed us their baby's latest sonogram image. So cute ! Even though it's all blurry and the actualy size is no bigger than a banana, the baby's position is kinda funny. it's hand is behind the head, so it looks like it's relaxing. hahaha. relaxing in your mummy's belly eh ? when you come out soon, I will be the best aunt !

I absolutely can't wait !!! I realised i've been waiting for this day since April ! not May . So it's actually a 4 months very very long wait ! and now it's arriving ! Since the day I found out JONAS is premiering on Disney Channel Asia at 5.30 pm on 9th August which is TODAY, I've already marked this day on every possible calendar in my house including in the kitchen by the stove which I've never looked at except when marking this day. The calendar in my mum's car, in my mum's bedside table which again I've never checked cause I don't normally go there.... to her bedside table cause I don't sleep in my mum's room because I prefer sleeping alone so I can have a nice sleep and beautiful Jonas dreams without anyone disturbing me. Wow, now that's a long sentence. :D
